A former turquoise mine located 3.2 km (2.0 miles) N of Yucca Grove and 8.0 km (5.0 miles) NE of Halloran Spring.

NOTE: The USGS MRDS database does not list a Toltec Mine; however, it lists alternate names for the Halloran Springs Mine (Cu-Ag mine) as the Toltec or Totec Mine. Strong (1963) gives good directions to the Toltec Mine and based on this, it can be seen on the ESRI satellite images west of the summit of Turquoise Mountain in the area marked as "Turquoise Mining Area" on Open Street Map. The directions given above are clearly inaccurate as there is no mine there on the satellite image. The directions for the Halloran Springs Mine on its mindat page are also inaccurate (nothing on the satellite image) and so it may be the same locality as this one.
