A former Cu-Ag-Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 10, T3N, R24E, SBM, in the northern Whipple Mountains, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

This property was examined in conjunction with the mineral appraisal of the Whipple Mountains Wilderness Study Area (Bureau of Land Management) in 1980. Backup information can be found in the WFOC mineral property files.
Corrected coordinates : N34.35621 W114.44326 ; taken at remains of mining structures by Richard Muster in the year 2010 using an Ashtech MM6 device.
Ore body No. 1 is tabular in a shear zone. Ore body No. 2 is irregular in form. The primary mode of origin was hydrothermal activity and the secondary mode was oxidation. Primary ore control was fracturing and secondary control was faulting. Wallrock alteration is slight (propylitic). Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Workings include surface and underground openings.
