A former Au occurrence/prospect/mine located in the NW¼NW¼NE¼ sec. 23, T12N, R1E, SBM, 3.4 km (2.1 miles) SW of Paradise Springs (coordinates of record) (5.5 miles ENE of the summit of Lane Mountain). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in diorite. The ore body strikes N10-40E and dips 30-50W at a thickness of 0.46 meter. The deposit is comprised of iron-stained quartz veins 18 inches (45 cm) thick. Local rocks include Mesozoic gabbroic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of pits and shafts.
