A Au prospect located in the SE¼ sec. 11, T7N, R20E, SBM, (land is unsurveyed) 2.6 km (1.6 miles) W of Big Chief Peak (summit), in the northern Chemehuevi Valley, E of the Sacramento Mountains among a group of isolated hills. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in gneiss. The ore body strikes N10W and dips 55E. The veins and stringers occur in a 10 foot thick pyritized zone. Local rocks include Precambrian granitic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Mojave Desert).

Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 30.48 meters and comprised of a shaft (the topo map reflects 3 prospect pit symbols and 1 adit symbol just to the S).
