A Au occurrence/prospect/mine located in the SE¼SW¼SE¼ sec. 13, T12N, R1E, SBM, 2.1 km (1.3 miles) SSW of Paradise Springs (coordinates of record), on the SE slope of the mountain range, on private land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

NOTE: This locality may be the same as the Olympus Mine (http://www.mindat.org/loc-89165.html) that has an alternate name of "Paradise." This locality is approximately 0.2 km ENE of the Olympus. Both localities have different USGS & MAS/MILS file numbers assigned as well a 1 page difference in the reference (Southern Pacific Company).

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in diorite. The ore body strikes NE and dips NW at a thickness of 0.76 meter. The veins are 6 to 30 inch (15 to 75 cm) thick. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of shallow shafts and pits.
