A Au prospect located in the SW¼NW¼NE¼ sec. 23, T12N, R1E, SBM, 3.5 km (2.2 miles) SW of Paradise Springs (coordinates of record), along the southern margin of the Paradise Range (5.4 miles ENE of the summit of Lane Mountain), on Bureau of Land Management administered land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in diorite. The ore body strikes N10E and dips 60W at a thickness of 0.51 meter. The Fe-stained quartz vein is 6 to 20 inches (15 to 50 cm) thick, in a fault zone. Controls for ore emplacement included a fault. Local rocks include Mesozoic gabbroic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 100 foot incline and several pits.
