A former lode Au-Pb occurrence/mine located in sec. 21, T1S, R12E, SBM, 2.1 km (1.3 miles) N of New Dale. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters. Operated by the Seale Gold Mining Company, and later by the United Green Water Copper Company, both prior to 1915. Idle until 1928 when it was operated by the Arrowhead Development Company. Nightingale became active from 1930 to 1942 when the Gold Crown Mining Company leased the property.
Mineralization is hosted in andesite. The ore body strikes N and dips 70-80E at a thickness of 3.66 meters. The vein is 4 to 12 feet thick. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 1,250 feet, 70 degree incline, a 200 foot incline, and a 675 feet, 85 degree incline with levels at 75 foot intervals. Total underground workings total about 6,000 feet. More detailed descriptions of the workings are found in Tuchker & Sampson (1943).

The Supply group (Supply and Nightingale) has yielded Au ore valued at $500,000. The above figures are for the entire Gold Crown Mining Company. No other production records were found.
