A W occurrence located in sec. 4, T6N, R1E, SBM, 1.5 km (0.9 mile) E of West Ord Mountain (coordinates of record). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in amphibolite, mica schist, granite and quartzite. The ore body is irregular in form, strikes NW and dips steeply SW, at a width of 6.1 meters and a length of 304.8 meters. The complex is chiefly quartzite, mica schist and foliated granitic rocks, cut by acidic and basic dikes. Scheelite is discontinuously disseminated in an amphibolite layer within a crystalline rock complex. The amphibolite layer is composed essentially of dark green amphibole with subordinate phgoclase (sic), and is from 5 to 20 feet wide. Local rocks include Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface and underground openings. The site was first explored by several small cuts. Later, a tunnel was driven SW for 200 feet, encountering the tungsten-bearing zone at 170 feet. The zone was followed by drifts 138 feet NW and 87 feet SE.
