A former lode Au-Fe occurrence/mine located in the SW¼ sec. 26, T3N, R1W, SBM, about 4.6 km NNW of Fawnskin, N of Holcomb Creek, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Idle in 1958.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in quartz monzonite. The vein is massive and recrystallized. Ore fills fractures in ladder structure. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include underground openings comprised of a 20 foot shaft.
