A former lode Au-limestone occurrence/mine located in the SE¼ sec. 22, T3N, R1W, SBM, about 7 km (4.5 miles) NNW of Fawnskin, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters. Idle in 1958.
Mineralization is hosted in marble, granite, porphyry and quartz monzonite. Calcite and dolomite marble are of the Furnace Formation. Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Mojave Desert).
Workings include surface openings comprised of 2 shallow pits.
