A former crushed/broken stone deposit/quarry with accessory graphite located in secs. 28, 29, 32 & 33, T2N, R2E, SBM, 4.0 km (2.5 miles) S of Woodlands and NE of Sugarloaf Mountain, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in graphitic schist. Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Mojave Desert).
