A former Cu-Ag-Au occurrence/mine located in the NE¼SW¼ sec. 27, T3N, R23E, SBM, 5.0 km (3.1 miles) NNW of Savahia Peak (coordinates of record) (15 air miles NW of Vidal). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in schist. The ore body is 1.22 meters thick. Quartz veins 1½ to 4 feet thick are associated with diorite dikes that intrude the schist. One set of dikes strike NE with the other set striking NW. A 4 to 6 foot thick vein was encountered at the 26 foot level. Associated rocks include diorite. Local rocks include Precambrian igneous and metamorphic rock complex.
Corrected coordinates : N34.31712 W114.55403 ; taken at traces of mining activities by Richard Muster in the year 2010 using an Ashtech MM6 device.
Workings include surface and underground openings with an overall depth of 24.38 meters and comprised of an 80 foot vertical shaft. Crosscuts were driven N 15 feet on the 36 foot level and S 50 feet on the 80 foot level.
An open cut was excavated 50 feet W of the shaft and exposed a 1½ foot vein (the topo map reflects 2 shaft and 2 prospect pit symbols at this point).

Production statistics: Year: 1939 (ore) (estimated): ^5.45% Cu, 0.425 ounce Au and $0.54 (period values) Ag/ton. Recovery percentage: 12 grams/metric ton Au; Cu at 5 weight per cent.
Analytical data results: 2 to 5% Cu, traces of Au & Ag.
