A Cu-Au-Ag occurrence/prospect located in secs. 27, 33, 34, 35, T10N, R20E, SBM, 3.1 km (1.9 miles) SW of Bannock, at the extreme northern tip of the Sacramento Mountains, S of US highway 95 (15 miles NW of Needles; just S of Bannock siding on the Santa Fe railroad). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is .

Mineralization is hosted in andesite. Known Cu-Au veins at Chuckwalla are similar to those peripheral to the Au breccia pipe at Colosseum. Generally E-W-trending mineralized belts are characterized by 100 to 300 foot zones of narrow calcite +/- quartz veins. There is a clear association between hydrothermal hematite and gold. Local rocks include Tertiary nonmarine rocks, undivided.

Workings include surface sampling and drilling. Santa Fe Pacific reconnaissance sampling was conducted in 1991, drilled by Echo Bay Mining in 1990. Santa Fe Pacific has done sampling, ground magnetic and VLF resistivity surveys.

Analytical Data: Initial sampling shows 26% of analyses average 0.19% ounce/ton Au with Cu values in the 1 to 5% range. Some baryte carries up to 102 ounces/ton of Ag.
