A former Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 31 & in the W½ sec. 32, T3N, R1E, SBM, about 5.3 km NE of Fawnskin, along the E margin of Holcomb Valley, on National Forest land. The property was comprised of 2 unpatented claims (records of the San Bernardino County Assessor). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. No other information is available.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Mojave Desert).
