A gold-lead property. Located 11.2 km north-northeast of Wyloo Homestead.

A 2010 technical report for nearby Paulsens gold mine (whose tenement also covers the historic Belvedere mine), states it is a copper mine. It states Melrose (Paulsens), Belvedere, Monster Lode, and Tombstone (also known as Belfry or Blacks copper mine) are separate localities. Marston (1979) states Blacks, Belfry, and Metawandy are the same location or at least three deposits in close proximity to each other.

Further information was later found under the Blacks name in a report by Gibb-Maitland. Blacks is on a hill 300 feet high, being weathered basalt schist, traversed by quartz reefs, with smaller reef splays going in all directions. There are no defined ore channels, the rocks stained with malachite. A few tonnes of ore was raised it states.

Ferguson states Blacks (or Belfry) is a copper mine, 3 kilometres east of the Belvedere mine location. Belvedere itself is two reefs, the first dipping 46 degrees west, the second reef dipping 50-70 degrees west, all within the Mount Roe Basalt. Au-Cu-Pb veins within a 120 metre thick west north-west, south dipping quartz intruded horizon. Mineralisation is bunches of galena, cerussite, beudantite, and plumbojarosite.

Marston (1979) states it is three deposits in chert and deformed mafic to felsic metavolcanic rocks. The chert forms a conspicuous ridge, with copper staining in the basal 10 metres of the ridge. Some potholes but no official production according to this source. He also mentions one kilometre to the west is a 2metre deep pit on a quartz vein with Cu stained goethite patches but fails to name it. He also mentions Belvedere as a separate locality.

Produced 1949, 1.77 tonnes of lead, and 2488.2 tonnes of silver, but Ferguson says only from the dumps, indicating prior unknown mining.
