A former Mn mine located in sec. 28, T26N, R9E, MDM, 3.5 km (2.2 miles) WNW of Moccasin, along Bellas Creek, 6 miles W of Crescent Mills. Operated by M. M. and B. J. Burdick - Lessees, California (1974) (private lease).

Mineralization is a Mn deposit. The ore body strikes NW amd dips steeply. The ore consists of small lenses of rhodonite and bementite. Relatively little oxide is present. Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 6 (Northeastern Sierra Nevada) and/or Tertiary volcanic flow rocks, unit 17 (Cascade Range).

Reserves are estimated at 25% Mn.
