A Fe-Cu-clay occurrence located in sec. 34, T15N, R7E, MDM, 7.3 km (4.5 miles) E of Spenceville, along the SW foot of Bald Mountain. The property comprises 540 acres. Owned by G. G. Wetteran. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in rhyolite. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include surface and underground openings with an overall depth of 6.1 meters and comprised of a 20 foot shaft, open cuts and trenches.
No production. Said to have shipped 50 tons.
