A Cu-Au occurrence/prospect located in the N½ (probably) sec. 29, T14N, R8E, MDM, 1.4 km (0.9 mile) WSW of Higgins Corner, E of Wolf Creek and W of highway 49, on state forest land. Owned by J. R. Nickerson. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a crosscut tunnel 200 feet in length that taps the ledge.
No production was recorded. Very little development work has been done.
Tests of ore from the dumps showed a Cu content of 4%. Croppings are visible for about 800 feet along the ledge.
