A complex of quarries working the Cambrian Stockbridge marble. Active since at least 1935, and still active as of 2013.

Mineralization consists of tremolite in white acicular, spindly to fibrous crystals and as large, euhedral grey porphyroblasts both in sugary, white Stockbridge marble.

Small , irregular hydrothermal veins to approximately 2cm thickness are found along faults in the quarry. Mineralization consists of massive sulfides - sphalerite, pyrite, and possibly galena.

Marine fossils possibly as glacial detritus were found by geologists investigating the site, according to the owner.

Old reports of limonite geodes originating from this quarry are likely erroneous.
