A placer Au occurrence located in sec. 15, T17N, R7E, MDM, 3.3 km (2.0 miles) W of Birchville and 3.3 km (2.1 miles) NW of French Corral, E of the Yuba River, just upstream of the New Colgate powerhouse. The property comprises 40 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 5,000 meters. Included on list of mines for this township (#88), but not shown on the map.
