A former Au-Pb-Zn-As occurrence/mine located in sec. 9, T16N, R9E, MDM, 0.6 km (0.4 mile) SSE of Willow Valley (town) and about 3.6 km (2 miles) ENE of Nevada City proper, along Deer Creek in Willow Valley. The property comprises 21 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite. The ore body strikes N18E and dips 25NW at a thickness of 0.46 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings with a length of 365.76 meters and an overall depth of 167.64 meters and comprised of an inclined shaft, drifts and a tunnel.
