A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the SE¼NE¼ sec. 22, T18N, R11E, MDM, about 3.6 km SSE of Graniteville, NE of Old Condon Mill (site), S of the South Fork Poorman Creek, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. This mine is referred to as the "Azalie" by Clark (1970a).
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in granite and porphyry. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 4 (Klamath Mountains and Northern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a shaft, adit and several pits.
