A former Ag-Au-Pb-Zn mine located in the middle SE¼ of sec. 3, T3S, R31E, MDM, 4.3 km (2.6 miles) ENE of BAnner Ridge (coordinates of record), on private (patented) land in a National Forest. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
NOTE: MRDS database file #10101180 places this mine in the "Indian District," which is otherwise not described (minimal information - may be an arbitrary designation).
Mineralization is hosted in diorite. The ore body is irregular kidneys of ore which strikes N10E and dips 80W at a thickness of 1.22 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 190 foot incline with several levels and a 280 foot deep vertical shaft. All workings are caved or flooded.

production information: Mine reported to have produced $150,000.00 (period values). There was a small recorded production of Ag in 1941. No (assay) values found.
