An andalusite deposit located in sec. 2, T4S, R33E, MDM, 4.6 km (2.9 miles) W of White Mountain Peak, N of Jeffrey Mine Canyon (N of the Champion Mine property), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Andalusite occurs as irregular stringers and lenses in the same dike being worked by the Champion Sillimanite Co. (Champion Mine). Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 3 (Mojave Desert, Death Valley area, and Eastern Sierra Nevada).

Workings include surface and underground workings comprised of a number of shallow open cuts and short tunnels.
