A former Ag-Pb-Cu mine located in sec. 18, T2S, R32E, MDM, 0.6 km (1,900 feet) ESE of Buscones Hill (coordinates of record), at the head of Last Chance Gulch, on National Forest land (private land ?). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in granite. The ore body strikes N10-20W and dips 40-45E. A series of parallel fault fissures strike N-S. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Production data are found in: Goodwin (1957).

Production information: A small amount of ore was produced in 1925. Smelter recovery ran 28% Pb and 24 ounces/ton Ag. The last known activity was in 1941, when some Ag was recovered.
