A former lode Au mine located in secs. 29 &32, T4S, R18E, MDM, 1.8 km (5,800 feet) SSE of Whitlock, on the divide between Whitlock Creek and Sherlock Creek (2 miles S of Whiskey Flat). Property consisted of an unpatented claim. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with 2 veins, hosted in porphyry. The ore body strikes N and dips 45E at a thickness of 0.41 meter. The veins have a porphyry hanging wall and a mariposite footwall. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings with a total length of 254.51 meters and an overall depth of 86.87 meters and comprised of 1 incline plus 550 feet of drifts.
