A former lode Au mine located in secs. 21, 22 & 27, T3S, R19E, MDM (UTM estimated), 0.6 km (2,100 feet) SSW of Incline, S of the Merced River between river miles 106 and 107) (adjoins the Hite group of claims on the W), on National Forest land. Property was unpatented. Operated 1936 to 1952. Operated by Mrs. E. B. Easton. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in slate and hornfels. The ore body strikes N42.5W and dips steeply NE. Several parallel veins in wallrock which is cut by narrow dikes of aplite and fine-grained quartz diorite. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 412 foot main crosscut adit and a second adit at 56 feet long.
