A former limestone deposit/quarry located in sec. 34, T9N, R20W, SBM, 1.6 km (1.0 mile) E of Lake of the Woods, along Cuddy Canyon, on the San Andreas Rift Zone, on private (patented) land. Owned by the Mineral Materials Company, California (1980). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters. Also in sections 26, 27 & 35.
Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include unspecified surface openings (presumably a quarry operation).
