A Hg occurrence located in sec. 1, T31S, R36E, MDM, about 2.6 km (1.6 miles) ESE of Chuckwalla Mountain (coordinates of record) (2½ miles W of Cinco; ¼ mile up-slope from the Los Angeles aqueduct). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. Location not confirmed (1957). May be the same as the Mammoth claim (located 1917). The UTM is to the center of sec. 1.

Mineralization is hosted in rhyolite. Associated rocks include Late Cretaceous-Pliocene granite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
