A Cu-Au-Pb occurrence located in the N½SE¼ sec. 1, T29S, R38E, MDM, 3.4 km (2.1 miles) SSW of Black Mountain (coordinates of record), in the headwaters area of Last Chance Canyon. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. Located 11¼ miles NE of Cantil, on a small hill a few hundred feet N of the road in Last Chance Canyon.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in schist. The ore body strikes W and dips steeply N. Head mineralization appears to be in NW-trending veins approximately parallel to bedding plane shears in schist and carbonate rocks, cropping out 100 to 200 feet E of the main shaft. Some chalcopyrite and pyrite occur as finely disseminated grains in silicified blue-gray schist. Local rocks include Tertiary nonmarine rocks, undivided.

Workings include underground opening comprised of a 500 foot shaft that is inclined 70 degrees N for 200 feet below the collar and less steeply N for the lower 300 feet. A 90 foot drift adit from the E intersects the shaft 50 feet below the collar. Several short, inclined shafts and adits were developed in an area 100 to 200 feet E of the main shaft.
