A W-Au occurrence located in the NW¼SW¼ (estimated) sec. 26, T27S, R32E, MDM, 3.3 km (2.0 miles) SSE of Miracle Hot Springs, along the W canyon wall of Clear Creek (2.2 miles N of Havilah), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in quartz diorite and granodiorite. The ore body strikes N10E and dips 60-80E with a width of 4.27 meters, a length of 45.72 meters and a depth-to-bottom of 12.19 meters. The vein width ranges from 6 to 14 feet. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a crosscut, a drift driven S10E from the N end of the hill.
