A former Hg mine located in secs. 16 & 20, T22S, R39E, MDM, 2.6 km (1.6 miles) S of Coso Hot Springs, on military reservation land (China Lake Naval Ordnance Test Station). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Mineralization is a Holocene Hg deposit hosted in chemical sediment. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) (recent basalt and Quaternary rhyolite).
