A former Au mine located in sec. 30, T10S, R34E, MDM, 4.5 km (2.8 miles) WSW of Fish Springs (town) (1.5 miles E of Tinemaha, or 1.8 miles NNW of Red Mountain). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. This location is estimated from then description in the reference (MRDS file note). This mine was possibly incorporated into later development under different name(s).
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a vein 6 to 18 inches (15 to 45 cm) thick, hosted in granite. The ore body dips 80W at as thickness of 0.46 meters. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 200 foot adit, partially stoped.
