A W occurrence/claims located in sec. 8, T7S, R30E, MDM, 3.6 km (2.2 miles) W of Scheelite, E of Lower Morgan Lake, in the Sierra Nevada (¾ mile W of Browns Camp), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in granite and marble. The ore body is lenticular in form at a width of 6.1 meters and a length of 45.72 meters. A quarter mile N are several small discontinuous lenses of tactite 20 to 50 feet long and a few feet wide. Local rocks include Carboniferous marine rocks, unit 7 (Bishop) and/or Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
