A former Au-Fe-Cu mine located in sec. 10, T23S, R41E, MDM, 3.0 km (1.9 miles) E of Mountain Spring, on ridge N of Mountain Springs Canyon, on military reservation land (China Lake Naval Ordnance Test Station). Property consisted of 7 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a vein 4 feet (1.2 meters) thick, hosted in granite. The ore body strikes E-W and dips 70S at a thickness of 1.22 meters. It is unknown whether the Au occurs in the free state or in sulfides. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include underground openings comprised of 2 adits. The upper one is 320 feet long. It intersected ore at 300 feet. A 30 foot winze was sunk on the vein and a raise put up 30 feet. 400 feet below these workings, the lower crosscut adit extends 1,000 feet to the vein.
