A former Au-Zn-Cu mine located in sec. 27 & 28, T6S, R30E, MDM, 2.3 km (1.4 miles) N of Scheelite, E slope of Wheeler Ridge, in the Sierra Nevada, on National Forest land. Property consists of 3 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. UTM estimate projected; land unsurveyed, estimated from description in reference.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a vein 1 to 2 feet (0.3-0.61 meter) thick, hosted in granite. The ore body strikes E-W and dips 40S at a thickness of 0.61 meter. Diorite intrudes granite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of adits and open cuts.
