A former Au-Pb-Cu mine located in the N½ (estimated) sec. 20, T15S, R36E, MDM, 6.0 km (3.7 miles) N of Alabama Hills (populated place) (about 2 miles NW of Lone Pine), in the Alabama Hills (range). Property was comprised of 3 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. This mine was possibly incorporated into later development under different names.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a vein 6 inches (15 cm) to 2 feet (0.61 meter) wide, hosted in syenite. The ore body dips 40SW at a thickness of 0.61 meter. The vein is covered by a few feet of stratified tufa near surface. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 100 foot adit and 135 feet of drifts. Most work was surface operations.
