A former Au mine located in sec. 17, T10S, R35E, MDM, 3.0 km (1.9 miles) WNW of Fish Springs (town), on the S slope of Fish Springs Hill (3.5 miles N of Red Mountain), on Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Crater Mountain Wilderness Study Area). Property consisted of 7 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in granite. The ore body strikes NNE and dips 15-30NW at a thickness of 0.3 meters. The deposit consists of a series of narrow, roughly parallel veins, 6 to 12 inches thick. Local rocks include Quaternary volcanic flow rocks, unit 6 (Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings comprised of about 50 tunnels varying up to 800 feet in length. Work was done on 10 to 12 veins. The principal vein, the Cleveland, has an 800 foot adit. About 600 feet from the portal, the adit intersects an incline from surface. The total length of the incline on dip was 560 feet with a 100 foot drift on the bottom.
