Visited by Simon Harrison on Monday 6th June 2016. No one currently working the site.
Plenty of reworking of the dumps evident and some newer cross cuts into the soil in a couple of places.
The productive zone in the original pit appears to be diving under the overlying rock.
There would need to be a fairly major excavation to allow access to the zone.
Any current production appears to be from other pits in the region.
Entering the coordinates into a GPS doesn't take you to the mine as the road is closed about 2 km from the site.
