A former Cu-Au-Ag mine located in sec. 18, T9N, R11E, MDM, about 4.3 km E of Logtown (site), E of the confluence of Martinez Creek and Squaw Hollow Creek and N of the North Fork Cosumnes River (4 miles SE of El Dorado; ½ mile E of the Mother Lode). Operated and produced during the periods 1900 to 1905, 1953 and 1956. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

This mine was active during the period 1900 to 1905, when it was developed by shallow workings. The shaft was deepened later and several hundred feet of drifts were driven with ore containing 5 to 9% Cu and some Au & Ag mined. It was reopened in 1953 and several thousand tons of ore were mined but the mine was shut down in 1954. It was again reopened in 1956 and recorded production for 1956 was 1,400 tons of Cu ore shipped to the mill for treatment. Minor amounts of Au and Ag were recovered.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in schist. The ore body strikes N to NE and dips E at a width of 2.13 meters. Controls for ore emplacement include a shear zone. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings with a length of 176.78 meters and an overall depth of 70.1 meters. A 2-compartment shaft, 230 feet deep, with levels at 100 and 200 feet with approximately 350 feet of drifts.
