A limestone-garnet occurrence/prospect located 5.1 km (3.1 miles) E of Boulder Park, on Bureau of Land Management administered land in the Jacumba (In-Ko-Pah) Wilderness Study Area. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is hosted in metasedimentary rock with associated Late Cretaceous tonalite. The ore body is a vein deposit that strikes N55E and dips steeply NW at a thickness of 0.64 meters. Irregular veins of coarsely crystalline white calcite in deeply weathered tonalite. Veins are too impure and highly fractured to be calcite resources. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 2 (Peninsular Ranges).
Workings include surface openings with an overall depth of 1.22 meters and comprised of a pit along the road.
