A Mn occurrence/prospect located in sec. 12, T9S, R20E, SBM, 8.7 km (5.4 miles) WSW of Palo Verde. Discovered in 1942. Owned by Edward MacDonald, California (1974). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10,000 meters (sic).
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in Pliocene andesite. The ore body strikes N45W and dips vertically at a width of 0.61 meter. The veins have a maximum width of 2 feet and occur in andesitic breccia. Local rocks include Tertiary nonmarine rocks, undivided.
Workings include unspecified surface openings.
