A former Au mine located in the SE¼ sec. 5, T13S, R19E, SBM, 10.7 km (6.6 miles) NE of Glamis, W of highway 78. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Now a part of the Goldfields Mesquite Mine. The old workings may have been destroyed (subhumed) by the open pit.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in gneiss and schist. The ore body strikes N10W and dips 80NE. The deposit occurs in a fracture zone in gneissic and schistose rocks complexly intruded by fine-grained granitic rock. The fracture zone is about 6 feet wide and contains narrow ramifying veins of calcite, quartz, Fe-oxides and native gold. Local rocks include Precambrian igneous and metamorphic rock complex.

Workings include underground openings comprised of a 100 foot vertical shaft with levels at 50 and 100 feet. The 50 foot level has a 70 foot and a 25 foot drifts to the SE end and NW, respectively. The 100 foot level has a 70 foot and 100 foot drifts to the SE and NW. A small pit is 25 feet in diameter and 15 feet deep 300 feet to the NW exploring a reportedly high-grade pocket.
