A Ag-Cu occurrence/prospect located in the NW¼NW¼ sec. 25, T1N, R1W, MDM, 1.1 km (0.7 mile; 3,600 feet) E of Eagle Peak (coordinates of record), on the upper E slope of Meridian Ridge, on state owned land (Mount Diablo State Park). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated. Prospected for Ag.
The deposit is a white quartz vein in brecciated diabase. It contains some chalacopyrite. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).
