A Mn occurrence/claim/prospect located in the SW¼ sec. 29, T13S, R26E, MDM, 0.9 km (2,800 feet) NNW of Clingans Junction, on the NW margin of Little White Deer Valley. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in rocks of the Oligo/John Day Formation. Partially oxidized rhodonite occurs, more or less intimately associated with quartz, in quartzite, quartz-schist, and quartz-mica schist. Associated rocks include Late Permian diorite and granite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Due to the very siliceous character and lack of substantial oxide ore, there can be no hope for future production.
