A former Cu mine located in sec. 26, T1N, R11E, MDM, 2.8 km (1.7 miles) SSE of Telegraph City, S of Hog Hill, near the Stanislaus County line. Owned by L. Shumate (1916). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is a vein Cu deposit hosted in greenstone. The ore body strikes NW and dips NE. The vein is pyritic greenstone. Local alteration includes pyritization. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 36.58 meters and comprised of 1 shaft.

Production in 1865 and 1914: None reported.
