A former lode Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn mine located in the NE¼ sec. 10, T1N, R11E, MDM, 2.3 km (1.4 miles) N of Telegraph City, on the divide between Buckham Gulch and Copper Gulch. Operated during 1921 and 1934 to 1936. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in greenstone. The ore body strikes NW and dips NE at a thickness of 0.46 meters. The vein is 1½ feet thick in pyritized greenstone. Two thirds of the rock is base ore with traces of As & Bi. Neither Cu or Zn ore was observed in situ. Controls for ore emplacement included the shear zones, along which the ore was emplaced, and elsewhere in schistose rocks. Much finely disseminated pyrite is present. These pyritized zones generally carry some Au & Ag. A quartz porphyry intrusion occurs S of the mine. It is 5 to 700 feet in diameter and is responsible for the shear zones near the mine. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Local geologic structures include shear zones with a NW trend and a steep dip.
Workings include underground openings with a length of 117.04 meters and comprised of an 84 foot deep shaft with levels at 40 and 80 feet.

Analytical data results: Assay samples range from $0.85 to $14.00 (period values) Au per ton, and from 0.01 to 39.0 ounces Ag per ton.
