A former lode Cu-Ag-Au-Zn mine located in the N½ sec. 28, T6N, R10E, MDM, 0.6 km (0.4 mile) WNW of Sunnybrook (¾ mile NE of the Newton Mine), on private land. Operated by the Allen estate Co. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in schist. The ore body is lenticular in form. The mine is located in a sill-like body of moderately schistose, sericitized felsite. Material on the dump is pale gray or greenish gray felsite, mildly sericitized and moderately schistose, in many cases with strong lineation developed on the folia. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of an inclined shaft with 4 levels at 165, 250, 370 and 490 feet.
