A Mn-silica occurrence/prospect located in the center W½SW¼ sec. 10, T4S, R3E, MDM, 1.2 km (0.7 mile; 3,900 feet) NNE of Mendenhall Springs, E of Arroyo Mocho, on county owned land (located claim - fee ownership). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
The ore body is 1 meter thick with a depth-to-top of 5 meters, width of 5 meters and a length of 15 meters. The ore body is sedimentary of unknown shape. The primary mode of origin was sedimentation and the secondary mode was oxidation. Primary ore control was bedding. There is no wallrock alteration. The minimum depth-to-top is 1 meter. No outcrops of ore or rock in place or in sight here. Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan melange.
