A former U-Mo occurrence/mine located in the SW¼ sec. 2, T26N, R10E, G&SRM, SSE of Cameron and SE of Gray Mountain (town), 1.6 miles E of the Little Colorado River.

Mineralization is an U-Mo deposit of primary and secondary uranium minerals with gangue species in lenses and pods, hosted in mudstone and sandstone. The ore fills intraformational channels and scours within the upper 30 feet of the Shinarump and lower 60 feet of the Petrified Forest members of the Triassic Chinle formation. The ore body is 30.48 meters wide and 39.62 meters long. Irregular, branching, mineralized lenses oriented mainly to the NE, in braided scour and fill channel and modified by fracturing and permeability characteristics of the hoist rock type. Area ore bodies are surrounded by a light brown to yellowish-brown alteration halo which cuts across the normal purple and grey beds of host rock types. The montmorillonite is derived from volcanic ash. Associated rocks include volcanic ash, basalt and Pleistocene-Late Triassic clay and mud. Uraninite is at depth and autunite occurs near the surface. Local rocks include rocks of the Shinarump Conglomerate Member, Chinle Formation.

Workings include surface openings comprised of open pits. This mine shared a common pit with the Emmett Lee No. 1 Mine.

Production was 840 tons of ore @0.19% U3O8; 0.02% V2O5 (1956-1958)
